Without our dedicated volunteers, the Foundation would not be able to do the wonderful work that we do for children…
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable people to assist in Princess Margaret Hospital’s Stitches’ Megazone play area as a Mega-Fun Volunteer!
Stitches’ Megazone is an integral part of Princess Margaret Hospital, offering patients, siblings and parents a relaxing and fun place to play away from the hospital wards. In Megazone kids are given an opportunity to just be kids!
As we look forward to moving to the new Perth Children’s Hospital and moving to the new play space, Fun on Four, we are looking to engage more volunteers in helping make Megazone and Fun on Four as much fun as possible!
Mega-Fun Volunteers are required to support the efficient running of Megazone by providing a fun and stimulating environment for patients and their families. Mega-Fun Volunteers will also be required to maintain a positive environment that helps foster each child’s creativity and uniqueness and create a safe space for patients and family members.
Mega-Fun Volunteers will be required to commit to a minimum of one shift per week for at least six months. Shifts are currently Monday – Friday, 10am-1pm and 2pm – 5pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am – 2pm. Subject to change.
