Do you hate waiting for answers? Could you live with a sense of suspense every day? 500,000 Australian children live…
A group of 14 Perth Firefighters have put their bodies ‘on the line’ for the sizzling 2016 Perth Firefighters calendar for Princess Margaret Hospital.
The annual calendar, which helps fund vital research and equipment for the burns unit at PMH, was unveiled at a hotly-anticipated launch party at Crown Perth’s EVE nightclub in October.
Mr January himself, Bryn, pictured above far right on a recent visit to PMH, said the opportunity to assist PMH Foundation to better the lives of children facing truly heart-breaking circumstances is humbling.
“I have my first child due to be born in March, and a world with better medical facilities and patient care for future generations is something I would help move heaven and earth to achieve,” he said.
Cam, who features as Mr May in the calendar, said the calendar supports a cause he strongly believes in.
“It’s a great cause and I’ll do anything to help out. And it is a little bit of extra motivation to get fitter,” he said.
PMH Foundation’s longstanding relationship with the Perth Firefighters has been a huge success, raising over $600,000 to help fund cutting-edge equipment and research at the hospital’s burns unit over the past eight years.
One such piece of equipment is the state-of-the-art CO2 laser treatment machine which helps with healing burns scars.
We are proud to partner with the Perth Firefighters Calendar each year, and are grateful to the 14 firies who have ‘bared their flesh’ in the name of supporting kids across WA.
Calendars are available for $15 from the volunteer’s kiosk at PMH or online here.
