Scary Times at Spooky Hall

It takes up to 50 hours for Melaney and Brent Goodall to transform their house in Hocking from a regular family home to Spooky Hall, a Halloween masterpiece!

It has become a tradition for the community to come along and experience the wonderful lights, decorations and entertainment while raising much needed funds for the Foundation.

Kids were greeted by Brent and given a lollipop and many had their picture taken with Stitches. Super scary volunteers from Dark Psychic Productions dressed up and added to the atmosphere.

Visitors to Spooky Hall have even found themselves on TV, with Channel 9 joining in the fun with live crosses that highlight the amazing work that Melaney, Brent  and their family and friends do each year.

The fundraising doesn’t end after Halloween for the Goodalls, however. They have been supporting the Foundation’s Christmas Lights campaign for the last ten years and Melaney and Brent launch straight into turning their house from Spooky Hall into a Christmas wonderland.

It takes them the entire month of November to set up their Christmas lights extravaganza, which has also become a traditional stop for families during the Christmas period.  Last year they raised over $6,600 for the Foundation.
